Experienced Team
Led by an experienced Catholic team with more than three decades of faithful Catholic political campaigning, analysis, and research, Catholic Engagement is one of the most experienced teams in America. Our mission is to persuade and turn out Catholic voters who uphold the teachings of the Church. We have successfully identified the political DNA of American Catholic voters – our strategy is proven to positively influence elections in alignment with Catholic moral and social teachings. Our experience includes work in sixteen states over six election cycles. Unconstrained by internal Catholic doctrinal and political battles that limit the effectiveness of other Catholic groups, Catholic Engagement concentrates on our sole mission: advancing the cause of life, family, religious liberty, and the common good through winning elections and key issues.
The Catholic Engagement team is led by the Honorable Tim Huelskamp, Ph.D. With 30-plus years of campaign, policy, and legislative experience, he is a well-known campaign advisor, pro-life spokesman, Catholic communicator, and leader committed to the social doctrine of the Church. Dr. Huelskamp is one of only a handful of individuals who helped lead Catholics to the polls in national elections and participates in two weekly national strategy calls: one with leading grassroots conservatives in America and another with eighty national Catholic leaders.
Dr. Huelskamp served in Congress for six years and in the state legislature for fourteen. He has worked as an advisor for multiple candidates, Catholic groups, conservative organizations, pro-life campaigns, and ballot initiatives. Dr. Huelskamp has become one of the premier experts on Catholic voters with connections across multiple dioceses, Catholic media, and leaders across the nation.

Huelskamp is joined at Catholic Engagement by Dakotah Parshall, an experienced campaign manager, data analyst, and strategist. Parshall has managed dozens of statewide, congressional, and local campaigns. His most recent success included expanding the pro-life super-majority in Kansas as Executive Director of the state party. Earlier highlights include flipping several congressional seats, a successful gubernatorial primary in 2018, dozens of legislative campaign victories, and multiple ballot issue successes. In these efforts, Parshall has managed thousands of volunteers and organized millions of targeted texts, mailers, and digital ads for candidates, political parties, and independent expenditures.
